Greenpeace Protests PDIP Catut His Name Is For Campaign

JAKARTA - Environmental organization, Greenpeace Indonesia protested the PDI-P post which included the name Greenpeace Indonesia in the campaign poster for presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo. Greenpeace Indonesia does not feel involved in the PDIP political party agenda.

Through TikTok's social media channel, @greenpeaceid, they posted clarification content that they were never involved in organizing the #GenerasiGot Royong Metu Kandang (Banteng Keluar Kandang) Banteng event, which is an event held by a young PDIP cadre, Banteng Muda Indonesia.

The event raised the hashtag for supporting Ganjar Pranowo and PDIP, namely #MenkanGanjar and #MenangTotal.

"Wait a minute, what is this? You guys feel something strange isn't with this? This is Indonesian Green Peace. Since when did you do that, since when did we want to support the party campaign?," said the host in the post.

Greenpeace also wrote a sentence with the tone of words in the upload "Mr. Banteng's plans."

"Please, yes, there is a social assistance party with a Non Government Organization. Don't take our names here. Please take them out, please, can you just enter the names of people like that. Be patient," said the host on the official account @greenpeaceid.

After TikTok Greenpeace Indonesia's post into FYP, it was observed that the PDI-P social media material had been deleted on Instagram. This ruling party has not commented on the video reaction and @greenpeaceid via TikTok.

Hundreds of netizen comments also highlighted and commented on criticizing the party bearing the bull logo.

The Romy Rombeng account states, Maybe that the green screen is not a greenpeace.

Adiboy440 menulis, 'Awas banteng sruduk.'
