Two Elderly Killed, Police Have Not Examined Fire Witnesses In South Petojo For Humanitarian Reasons

The Gambir Metro Police have not examined a number of eyewitnesses to the fire incident in a densely populated residential area of Jalan Gang Kober, Petojo Selatan Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.

"The witness is still being interrogated by about three people, but no one has been asked for official information for humanitarian reasons," said Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Mugia Yarry Junanda when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 28.

Previously, members of the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) had sampled the remaining items of the fire and land at the scene of the fire.

"The rest of the burned goods and the remaining soil. The number of our samples was not informed for sure," he said.

The results of the Puslabfor examination will come out in the next 2 weeks.

Previously, the fire destroyed 152 houses in four RTs, namely RT 02, 03, 04, 05 in RW 08. In addition to scorched hundreds of houses, two residents of RT 02 named Siti Hajar and Tisna died in the fire.

As for the houses burned down in RT 02 as many as 32 houses, RT 03 there are 26 houses, RT 04 there are 40 houses and in RT 05 there are 54 houses.
