"People stay at home more time and hope for something more. The income of Rp. 100,000 families should be able to buy children's milk, but mostly used gambling, especially online gambling," he said.

Natsir revealed that the number of suspicious financial transaction reports related to online gambling that entered PPATK also increased. In 2021 the number was 3,446 and jumped to 11,222 reports in 2022.

In January 2023, there were 916 reports, February 831 reports, and in May it rose to 1,096 reports.
