Scout Uniform Student Found Dead Wearing In Ulujami River

PEMALANG - A scout uniformed student was found dead in a pathetic manner. His body was seen floating in a river in the pond area of Blendung Village, Ulujami District, Pemalang Regency, Tuesday, August 22. Ulujami Police personnel together with medical officers from the Mojo Health Center who received a report immediately evacuated the body.

Pemalang Police Chief AKBP Yovan Fatika Handhiska Aprilaya through Ulujami Police Chief AKP Teguh Hadi Santoso said the body was already at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr M Ashari Pemalang.

"The medical team together with the Pemalang Police identification team are still conducting initial post-mortem on the bodies," said Teguh Hadi, in a written statement, Tuesday afternoon, August 22.

For the exact cause of death, Teguh continued, it is still under investigation and further investigation. Moreover, the identity of the victim is still unknown.

"For the time being, the identity of the victim is unknown, the victim was found wearing the scout uniform, about 140 cm tall, straight hair, round face and wearing earrings," he said.

Teguh also said that initially the victim was found by a resident who at that time wanted to feed milkfish at his pond.

"When passing through the road on the edge of the river, he saw the body of a girl floating in the river," said the Head of the Ulujami Police.

"Then the residents informed other residents around the scene, then reported it to the village apparatus of Blendung and the Ulujami Polsek Pemalang Police," he added.

Until this news was broadcast, the Ulujami Police were still waiting for reports from the public who had lost their family members, or from other parties who knew the characteristics of the victim.
