Police Check Suspected Fraudsters In Orange Social Assistance Mode Hypnotic Mode

JAKARTA - The police investigated a man suspected of being a hypnotist with the initials WP against a public infrastructure and facilities officer (PPSU) in the Cideng area, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

"So, it is true that we have received the report for the case involving PPSU. From the results in the field we are still in the development process. It is still in the investigation stage," said Head of Gambir Police, AKBP Kade Budiyarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 1.

The man who is familiarly called Budi said the incident occurred when a PPSU officer or known as the orange troop named Hanavi (56) suddenly approached the WP who offered Hanavi social assistance.

Hanavi was also interested in getting the social assistance, but WP said to get social assistance Hanavi had to take her to the point of giving social assistance.

WP invited Hanavi around using his motorbike, from Jalan Abdul Muis towards Jalan Petojo Enclek XIV.

When one of the other PPSU officers saw Hanavi and greeted her, Hanavi suddenly felt dazed and suddenly realized that she had traveled quite far.

Hanavi also remembers that WP had asked to change positions with the motorbike when heading to the location of the point of giving social assistance.

Upon his memory, Hanavi also felt that he had been tricked or hypnotized by the WP and immediately asked for help from the PPSU colleague who greeted him.

Although Hanavi's motorbike has not changed hands, the police promised to investigate the attempted fraud case.

"According to the PPSU, he wants to be fooled, because he obeyed the WP when he was promised to be given social assistance. We will investigate whether he was hypnotized or not, we will explore this," said Budi.
