JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo invites the whole community to work hand in hand to face various challenges in the future.

He made this statement through uploading a video on his personal Instagram account in order to welcome the 78th Indonesian Independence Day.

We were born with diversity. We are different, but bound by one goal. We are not the same, but will continue to move together. Going, continuing to knit unity and integrity," said Sigit, quoted on Thursday, August 17.

It is undeniable that the diversity of religions, ethnicities, and cultures belongs to Indonesia. Thus, this four-star police general also reminded the public to always uphold Indonesian unity.

Of course, the goal is to prevent divisions. The whole community was asked to continue to join hands in advancing Indonesia.
