JAKARTA - The National Police are collaborating with two ministries and Interpol to investigate the burning of the red and white flag that went viral on social media. The whereabouts of the perpetrators are known in Malaysia.

"The National Police have taken steps to cooperate with relevant agencies to resolve this issue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Communication and Information and also Interpol," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, to reporters, Tuesday, February 2.

"It has been identified that the owner of the account is a 25 year old AK who resides in Aceh. Meanwhile, he is currently working in Malaysia," he said.
