Alms Of The Sea, Bangkalan Fishermen Voice Community Don't Throw Garbage Into Waters

The fishermen in Bangkalan Regency campaigned for sea and river free of garbage in a sea alms event held by the Al-Ikhlas fishing group, Sunday, August 13.

According to the Chairperson of the Activity Committee, Haji Ghofur, as close as the sea or known by the local community as the 'task rocket' is a form of gratitude for fishermen from fishing so far.

"We deliberately use this 'task chain' momentum to campaign for sea and rivers to be free from garbage, in order to create awareness in the community not to throw garbage into rivers and seas," he said in East Java (East Java), Sunday, August 13, was confiscated by Antara.

At least 40 units of boats consisting of medium and small boats participated in the ornamental boat competition as a series of sea alms events on the Coast of Banjaran Village, Bangkalan District.

The Head of Bancaran Lukman Hakim welcomed the sea alms carried out by the Banjaran fishermen.
