Air Show Will Color The August 17 Commemoration Ceremony At The Jakarta Presidential Palace

JAKARTA - The Presidential Palace has prepared air performances from planes and helicopters flown by the TNI-Polri with a longer and more interesting duration at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation on August 17.Deputy of Protocol, Press, and Media Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin said the series of events commemorating the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was not only centered at the Merdeka Palace, but also at the National Monument. "There will be more people involved, especially at Monas. There is some music that invites us to be happy. I think this is very interesting, and also the air demonstration will be longer and more varied than today," Bey said when met after the gross rehearsal of the Proclamation 17 August Commemoration Ceremony, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, August 13. Bey explained that the series of 17 August Ceremonies started from the National Monument, namely the heirloom flag procession towards the Merdeka Palace. The parade marching band that accompanies the kirab of the heirloom flag will circle the Horse Statue at the Merdeka Selatan crossing. The community is also allowed to enliven the activities starting at 08.10 WIB at Monas. Meanwhile, the series of events at the Merdeka Palace began at 07.25 WIB, such as the regional dance arts. The community can also see the entire series of events through videotrons placed around the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. "(Videotron) is at several points and we also do live streaming so it can be watched anywhere," he said.

The Presidential Palace itself has prepared at least 8,000 invitations for the public to directly participate in the proclamation commemoration ceremony at the Presidential Palace on August 17, 2023. The 8,000 invitations were prepared both for those who will attend the proclamation second-second commemoration ceremony in the morning as well as for those who will attend the Red and White flag lowering ceremony in the afternoon at the Presidential Palace.
