This Is The Reason Why Budiman Sudjatmiko Is One Stage With Prabowo Subianto

PDI-P politician (PDIP) Budiman Sudjatmiko explained the reason he wanted to go on the same stage with Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto.

This was conveyed in response to a statement by the Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, who said the two politicians would speak on the same stage. The plan, the activity will be carried out next week.

"(The interest of one Stage with Prabowo, ed) campaigns for national unity," Budiman told reporters when confirmed, quoted on Saturday, August 12.

Budiman still closed his moment of being on stage with Prabowo. However, he said this unity campaign occurred after a discussion with Hashim and brought the hand of Prabowo's book entitled 'Indonesian paradoxes'.

After reading the book, Budiman then met Prabowo and agreed with his analysis. The meeting between the two took place on Jalan Kertanegara or the private residence of the former Danjen Kopassus.

"After that I said in the press sum with Pak Prabowo on Jalan Kertanegara that Pak Prabowo is one of the leaders who has aspirations and similarities in agenda with me," he said.

"So I have to support it," added Budiman.

Previously, Hashim had been suspicious of the figure of Budiman Sudjatmiko who would provide support to Prabowo Subianto. This is because his brother had experienced being framed in a hoax case in 2018 when Ratna Sarumpaet was said to have experienced violence.

"At that time I heard Mr. Budiman wanted to support Pak Prabowo. I doubt whether this is true or not. Oh, maybe there is a hoax," he said.

This condition made him explore Budiman's motives. Until finally, the PDIP politician was allowed to meet Prabowo, who ended up both of them being on stage.
