Women In Sukabumi Persecuted To Head Run Over, Police Arrest 2 Perpetrators

SUKABUMI - Police from the Citamiang Police, Sukabumi City Police, West Java again arrested another woman molester who was dragged into a motorcycle.

So far, as many as two perpetrators have been arrested from nine people suspected of carrying out the persecution.

The act of persecution went viral on social media. The victim was a woman who was abused by nine men. The act of persecution took place on Friday night on Jalan Pramuka, Cikondang Village, Citamiang District, Sukabumi City.

In the video footage, it can be seen that the victim was abused by being dragged, then run over his head using a motorbike. The motive for the perpetrators of the abuse of the victim was because of romance or jealousy.

Citamiang Police Chief Iptu Iwan Hendi Sutisna, said that until now only two people have been arrested, namely DM (19) and MIE (19), while the main perpetrators R (19) and six other perpetrators are still being chased by the Satreskrim ranks of the Citamiang Police.

"Last night we members arrested one perpetrator, so until now two people have just been arrested. Currently, the Citamiang Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still in the field to arrest the other perpetrators," Iwan said in his statement, Monday, August 7.

The two perpetrators were threatened with Article 170 in conjunction with Article 351 of the beating and/or persecution with a penalty of 5 years in prison. As for the current condition of the victim, Iwan said that he was still recovering at his home after receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

"For the victims, now their positions are being treated at home, we also provide assistance to restore the victim's psyche," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim's parents, Ai Nuarini, said that the family had completely handed over the case to the police.

"For legal matters, we as his parents have all left it entirely to the police. My son is currently in good condition," he explained.

Previously, the incident began when the main perpetrator with the initials R contacted and invited the victim with the initials PM at the crime scene (TKP). Arriving at the TKP, the alleged perpetrators immediately assaulted the victim.

"The perpetrator immediately took the victim to a rather quiet place, and with his friends immediately carried out the persecution. After that the victim was taken to the street, dragged and then one of the perpetrators ran over the victim's head," said Citamiang Police Chief Iptu Iwan Hendi Sutisna.
