Chairman of the DPD RI AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti took the time to meet his constituents, by attending the Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) show, August 5, 2023 in Jember, East Java.

LaNyalla hopes that this event will continue from year to year and the level must continue to increase and be of high quality. "It must be more and more global, every year there must be innovation so that people feel the economic impact. The audience or tourists will become more monotonous, so it's not monotonous," said the former chairman of PSSI.

As is known, JFC was again engaged on August 4-6, 2023 in the Jember square, with the theme Timelapse Journey of The Earth. The spectacular fashion parade with a 3.6-kilometer catwalk is filled with 10 defile, namely Bigbang, Prehistoric, Empire, Religion, Convention, World War, Super Star, Upcycle, Metaverse, and Nusantara.

For your information, this year's JFC has guests from the country of Sakura, namely the Maru Foundation. They are not only tourists, but also look stunning in several series of JFC activities. The arrival of the Maru Foundation is also a pilot project for the school development donation program in Jember. Three schools in Jenggawah and Ambulu sub-districts that have been conducted by the survey first, so that the assistance is right on target.

"The arrival of guests from Japan can establish a good relationship between the two Indonesian-Japan countries, especially in Jember. Jember is famous for its sugar and coffee quality, so they also have to enjoy culinary delights, one of which is enjoying the delicious coffee and cigars of Jember", said LaNyalla.

In the event, LaNyalla was greeted directly by the Regent of Jember Hendy Siswanto, East Java Kajati Mia Amiati, Sarolangun Regent Bachril Bakri.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Jember expressed his gratitude for the presence of the number one person in the DPD RI. Hendy said, the presence of LaNyalla is proof that the central government cares about regional leading events.

"Thank you Pak Nyalla for your presence, with the presence of the father and the JFC theme, namely, telling the journey starting from the beginning of civilization towards the year of democracy. Then, it is realized by the performance of the talents," said the Regent. This is also a message, that democracy is something beautiful.

With this, added Hendy, the world is looking at us, Indonesia is also watching us. "For that, let's show a more beautiful democracy, and a better and more prosperous Jember," said the Regent.
