Trial Completed, Mudiffar Sjah II Ternate Port Ready To Operate

TERNATE - The test of Mudiffar Sjah II Port has been completed and the Ternate City Transportation Service (Dishub), North Maluku (Malut) stated that Mudaffar Sjah II Port is ready to be used by a number of ships that will sail between islands in North Maluku and Bitung City, North Sulawesi.

"We have tested the dock at Mudaffar Sjah II Port Pier and it is certain that it is fit for use by a large ship," said Ternate City Transportation Service Secretary Nandi Naser who was contacted on Saturday.

According to him, currently there are two ships that have docked at Mudafhar Sjah II Port. There have been no reports of problems when the ship docked and will be carried out for the first voyage to various regencies/cities in the North Maluku region.

The ship, which will sail various regencies/cities in the North Maluku region, will also take the Ternate-Sofifi route, the capital of North Maluku Province PP. He stated that the Ternate City Government will make the Mudaffar Sjah II Port of Ternate City an alternative port, in addition to the port of Ahmad Yani and the Port of Bastiong.

He added that next week the ship, which docked at Mudafhar Harbor, Sjah Dufa-Dufa, will officially carry out its inaugural voyage according to the scheduled route, namely Batang Dua-Kota Bitung, then return from Bitung City directly to Sanana-Bobong-Falabishaya.

Therefore, his party hopes that the Mudaffar Sjah II Port, which is located in the North Ternate City area, can provide benefits to the Ternate City Government in managing sea transportation.

As is known, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 5, Ternate City has a number of ports that sailed various routes between islands and various cities in Indonesia, such as Ahmad Yani Port, Bastiong Port, ASDP Ferry Bastiong and Mudaffar Sjah II Port, Ternate City, which will be driven by various large ships.

In addition, there are also ports for ant fleet such as the Fleet Port of Ant Mangga Dua destinations Sofifi, Moti and Makian, Bastiong Port voyages Ternate-Tidore Islands II, New City Ports for the Ternate-Pakayae route, Al-Munawwar area for the Ternate-Sidangoli II route, Dufa-Dufa Port for the Ternate-Jailolo route, West Halmahera PP Regency and Sulamadha Port for the Ternate-Pulau Hiri PP route.
