JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo welcomed the resumption of communication between China and the United States in the midst of relations between the two countries which had heated up recently.

"Mr. President also conveyed that the RRT can provide support for the successful implementation of the East Asia Summit which will be carried out in September," he said. "In addition, the President also invited the RRT to work together to fight for the interests of developing countries in the field of sustainable tropical forest and climate action and invite the participation of the RRT in the 10th World Water Forum in Bali on May 18 to 24, 2024," he explained.
