During the meeting, President Jokowi and President Xi Jinping also discussed several regional issues including ASEAN-RRT cooperation to RRT support for ASEAN centrality to create a peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.

According to Jokowi, Indo-Pacific is a strategic area that must be jointly guarded as a peaceful and stable area.

After holding the meeting, the two leaders also witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation documents agreed by the two countries, namely the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Konjac Attack Exports from Indonesia to China.
