JAKARTA - The District Police (Polres) of Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) is still investigating the owner of dozens of logs in the shape of rectangular and round beams that were secured in the PT BRM Nagari Koto Nan IV Dibawuah forest concession area.

"We are still investigating to find out the owner of this wood, and we will look for it until we can," said the Head of Dharmasraya Police, AKBP Aditya Galayudha Ferdiansyah through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Suyanto, on Punjung Island, reported by Antara, Friday, January 29.

He said that until now his party had asked a number of residents as well as the PT BRM security guard who found the pile of wood.

"Until now, we have not obtained data on who owns the rectangular and round logs," he said.

Dozens of rectangular and round logs were found by a PT BRM security guard who was on patrol on Thursday, January 21 at around 12:15 WIB. The dozens of logs consist of 17 logs and 32 faceted logs.

Kapolsek Pulau Punjung, Iptu Syafrunaldi added, from the results of the development of the findings of wood which initially numbered 49 stems increased to 85 sticks. With additional details of 23 logs round logs and 13 beam facets.

"After we did the development around the location, we again found a pile of wood. All the evidence has been secured at the Dharmasraya Police Headquarters for the sake of further investigation," he said.
