Commander Yudo Affirms TNI Does Not Participate In Negotiations On The Release Of Pilot Susi Air

TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono emphasized that the TNI did not participate in the negotiation process carried out by the Acting Nduga Regent with the armed criminal group (KKb) led by Egianus Kogoya in the effort to release Susi Air pilot, Philip Mark Mehrtens.

"Yes, it's not (the TNI does not participate in the negotiation process). Commander Yudo conveyed that based on the information he received, the hostages are currently in good health. Acting Nduga regent will lead the negotiation process and are welcome to involve religious leaders and traditional leaders.

"He will tell you the results later, they will be evaluated later," he said.

Commander Yudo added, during the negotiation process, the TNI and Polri will continue to maintain a conducive situation in all districts and districts in Papua.
