Police: One Terrorist In Active Lombok Uploads Tutorial Bombs And Senpi Assemblers On Social Media

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested two terrorism suspects in the East Lombok region, West Nusa Tenggara. One of them often uploads video tutorials for making bombs on social media.

"In his post, Brother OS alias O posted a video tutorial for making bombs and homemade firearms," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, quoted Monday, July 17.

Suspect OS alias O uploaded the video on Facebook social media with Hamzah's account. Then, often spread his ideology through Whatsapp Group.

From the investigation, OS alias O is a member of the East Lombok Anshor Daulah who actively participated in meetings and studies at the house of Quran Aik Berik and at the house of the alleged HSN alias UL since August 8, 2022 until now.

"OS alias O is actively discussing Daulah Islamiyah in the conversation of the WhatsApp group for Islamic cafah studies and on his Facebook social media on behalf of Hamzah," he said.

Meanwhile, the suspect HSN alias UL played a role in recruiting members of Jamaah Ansharud Daulah (JAD) Bima from 2015 to 2017.

"Brother HSN alias UL understands Daulah Islamiyah," said Ramadhan.

Previously, the National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 arrested two suspected criminal acts of terrorism in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, with the initials UHS alias UL and OS alias O on Friday, July 14.
