Densus 88 Arrest 2 Oang Allegedly Related To Terrorism In East Lombok

The National Police's Anti-terror Special Detachment 88 Team arrested two people in East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

"Yes, two people were arrested by the Densus team in East Lombok," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Arman Asmara Syarifuddin, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 15.

He revealed the arrest took place on Friday (14/7) night.

Regarding the identity and involvement of the two in the alleged terrorism, Arman could not explain because it was beyond the authority of the NTB Police.

"Because this (arrest) is under the handling of the Densus team, so the authority lies with the National Police Headquarters," he said.

The Densus team has taken the two residents of East Lombok to the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.

"Yes, the two people have been brought to Jakarta," he said.

According to information, on Friday night (14/7) night, a woman with the initials HN (60) was arrested by the Densus 88 Anti-terror Team in the New Village, Majidi Village, Selong District, East Lombok Regency.

This information was also confirmed by Ahmad, the head of RT 14 in the neighborhood who participated in witnessing the arrest of HN by the Densus team.

He said HN sells vegetables every day. On weekends, HN often sells vegetables at thecar free day location in Taman Rinjani, Selong District, East Lombok Regency.
