New Facts On Joko Tjandra Case, Anita Kolopaking Communication About The Red Notice Revision

JAKARTA - A digital forensic member from the Cyber Crime Directorate of National Police-Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Adjutant (AKP) Adi Setya said that he found communication between Joko Tjandra and Anita Kolopaking regarding the revised letter of red notice.

This was conveyed by AKP Adi Setya when presented by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) as an expert in the trial of alleged bribery for the removal of red notice for the accused Joko Tjandra.

The disclosure of this email communication began when the prosecutor asked questions about what was found after examining the evidence in this case.

Then Adi Setya said, from the cellphone items found communication between the parties involved in the case. The communication was made between Anita Dewi Kolopaking and Joko Tjandra.

"Here at the examination of 276 number of evidences, item number 1, white iPhone was confiscated from Anita Dewi Kolopaking," Adi said during a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 28.

The form of communication, said Adi, was regarding sending documents via email. Based on the data, the contents are regarding the revised letter of red notice.

"At point C we found that it was related to email communication information. The email was sent from [email protected] on behalf of Anita Kolopaking sent to [email protected] with the name joe chan jst. Then there was also sent to [email protected], the email is with subject 'revision of the red notice letter'," said Adi.

"The following is attached with a sentence too 'dear Mr. Joko, attached the latest correction to the above matter. Please check again. Thanks for your attention," he continued.

For information, in the case of alleged bribery for the removal of red notices, investigators named four people as suspects. They act as recipients and givers.

Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte and Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo were named as suspects because they were suspected of being the recipients of bribes for the removal of red notice. Meanwhile, Tommy Sumardi and Djoko Tjandra were named as suspects on suspicion of giving bribes.

Joko Tjandra was charged with paying SGD200 thousand and USD270 thousand to Inspector General Napoleon and USD 150 thousand to Brigadier General Prasetijo.
