SINTANG - Sungai Durian Market, Sintang, West Kalimantan burned to the ground of 10 shophouses. The cause of this great fire is not yet known.

Head of the Civil Service Police Unit, Sintang Siti Musrika, said firefighters and a joint team were trying to extinguish the fire at Sungai Durian Market.

"Alhamdulillah, there were no casualties, the joint team was still at the scene of the fire," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.

"Currently firefighters are still at the scene," he said.

Currently, there are about 10 shophouses that caught fire. According to Siti, the fire report was received at 18.24 WIB which was immediately responded to by firefighters.
