Taufik explained that the incident began when the Malang Regency was raining with high intensity, since Thursday (6/7), and caused the river flow that was passing in Krajan Hamlet to overflow.
According to him, the victim and other residents tried to clean the wood stuck on the bridge with a length of 20 meters and a width of approximately 1.5 meters. However, while trying to get rid of the wood, the victim was swept away by the current.
"The victim was carried away by the river current, another colleague had tried to help. However, because of the swift water the victim was not saved and carried away by the river current," he said.
