Jakut City Government Investigates Kelapa Gading PPSU Case Forced To Overcome Loan Debt

Mayor of North Jakarta (Jakut) Ali Maulana Hakim said the Jakut City Government was investigating the case of Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling officers (PPSU) being forced to apply for online loans (loans) for their superiors.

Ali said that currently the North Jakarta City Inspectorate is examining the PPSU boss who serves as the section head in Kelapa Gading Barat Village.

"We processed it yesterday, both at the sub-district and sub-district levels last night at the Mayor's level with the North Jakarta City Inspectorate. This is currently being processed related to the ASN," Ali told reporters, Friday, July 7.

During this examination, the Jakut Inspectorate also found out how many PPSUs were forced to borrow the interest money online.

The Jakut City Government, continued Ali, is also looking for a solution to the repayment of the debt charged to the PPSU.

"We are worried that the bills will continue to repeat itself, burdening the person concerned. Later we will also find a solution. But more focus now, don't repeat it and the officers are currently being processed according to the rules in force in the ASN," he explained.

Previously, a PPSU officer in Kelapa Gading named Maulana expressed his concern because he was asked to borrow from the loan application with his personal data by his superiors.

Maulana has experienced this loan coercion since January 2022. Maulana does not know the reason why the village staff asked Maulana and a number of her PPSU colleagues to borrow.

After being disbursed, the loan was immediately handed over to his superior. The value borrowed is different between Maulana and several of his colleagues. According to Maulana, officers whose performance is considered problematic are asked for more money on loan.
