Welcoming School Holidays, Ancol Will Operate Longer

JAKARTA - School holidays will take place from June 24 to July 9. In order to welcome this school holiday week, DKI Jakarta BUMD PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk maximizes the operating hours of all recreational units at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta, following operational hours on weekends.

Operational Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Eddy Prastiyo gave an example of Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) if on weekdays it operates at 10.00-17.00 WIB, then during school holidays it will operate at 10.00-20.00 WIB.

"Ancol is the right choice for the purpose of school holidays by presenting special events on all Ancol rides. We hope to provide unforgettable joy and experience after recreation to fill the school holidays in Ancol," said Eddy Prastiyo in North Jakarta, Wednesday, quoted from ANTARA, Wednesday, June 28.

Dunia Fantasi offers the joy of playing rides that spur adrenaline with various collections of extreme rides in it.

On this school holiday, Dufan presented Gundala's action performance, where visitors can see the superhero from Indonesia whose real name is Sancaka acting on stage, as if in a film or comic story.

The special performance took place in the Dufan (Ice Age) indoor area at 13.00 WIB and 15.00 WIB.

Dufan offers recreation tickets along with membership cards for six months or one year during the school holidays.

For people who want to watch the collection of animals and the behavior of adorable animals, they can visit Ocean Dream Samudra (ODS), Sea World Ancol, and Jakarta Bird Land.

ODS has performances of various marine mammals, kingdom of fire, and 5D cinema.

Meanwhile, Sea World Ancol provides underwater camping activities (under the sea), where visitors can stay for two days and one night at Sea World Ancol to explore the life of biota and animals in aquariums.
