Investigators interrogated five people at the diesel hoarding site and it was found that one of the people with the initials HF was the person who ordered the other four people to transport jerry cans containing subsidized diesel to the crime scene in exchange for wages.

"Based on the results of the investigation, we arrested two suspects, namely HF, a resident of Pontang Village, Ambulu District, and a US woman, a resident of Nganjuk Regency. The US ordered HF to buy diesel subsidies to be stockpiled," he said.

The evidence confiscated included one unit of a blue and white tank truck, two water reservoirs containing subsidized fuel of 1,820 liters of diesel type, six jerry cans containing subsidized fuel of diesel type each containing 30 liters, five motorbikes as a means to transport jerry cans containing diesel fuel, and one unit of water pump engine along with the hose.

"The two suspects were charged with Article 55 of Law No.22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas as amended by Article 40 number 9 of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perpu) No. 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation junto Article 55, 56 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 6 years and a maximum fine of Rp. 60 billion," he said.
