JAKARTA Action after demonstration in front of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) office at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta is running peacefully. Representatives from the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI) can meet with Ministry of Religion officials regarding their demands regarding the process of handling the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Monday afternoon, June 26.

After the meeting between FPI and the government, representatives from the Ministry of Religion climbed onto the orator's car and spoke in front of hundreds of demonstration masses. He explained that the government will handle the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School polemic fairly.

"Welcome to the office of the Ministry of Religion, and we have received figures, kyai, the habaib who have met and had a dialogue with us. In principle, an agreement will be taken that the leaders are waiting for the official government's decision to be taken by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Mahfud M). " said the representative of the Ministry of Religion on the orator's car with a white shirt, Monday 26 June.

However, the public is asked to be patient in this process and asked to fully trust the government in handling Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.

The Islamic Brotherhood Forum (FPI) held an action of 266 at the Office of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Jalan Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 26.

In the action, the demonstrators demanded the revocation of permits and permanent closure of the Az-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School. In addition, protesters from the FPI period also asked Panji Gumilang to be arrested.

Citing a video that was spread by an IBTV account (Islamic Brotherhood Television) that FPI invites members and Muslims to take part in the road demanding the Al-Zaytun conflict.

As for the demands of the action, FPI asked the government to revoke the permit and permanently close the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School because it had taught its students heretical ideology.
