Puan: Succession Of Leadership And Development Continued By President And New Representatives From PDIP

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani considering that all cadres moved to win Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). The success of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) leadership must be continued.

This was conveyed in front of cadres and invitees who attended the peak of the Bung Karno Month celebration (BBK) today, Saturday, June 24 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta.

"We, we, we want the succession of national leadership to run smoothly, the development relay that can be continued by the new president and vice president of the PDI-P," said Puan, greeted by boisterous cadres who filled the stadium.

PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri has now appointed Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate, said Puan. So, all were asked to work hard because these two periods President Jokowi was able to become a world-class leader.

"Today we are strengthening our hearts, working hard with the fire of passion that never goes out. Winning the PDI-P and PDI-P presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo," he said.

"Let's maintain solidity, increase militancy, carry out party discipline, be upright, move in one rank under the command of the General Chair, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri," continued Puan.

PDIP held a grand consolidation with the theme 'Group of Unity for Greater Indonesia' on Saturday, June 24. Hundreds of thousands of party cadres bearing the bull symbol are expected to crowd the GBK area.

In addition, President Jokowi and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin were also present.

Then there were also general chairmen and officials of government coalition political parties. Among them, Acting Chairman of PPP Muhammad Mardiono, General Chairperson of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto, Chairman of Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang, Chairman of the Perindo Party Hary Tanoesoedibjo, and Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan.

Meanwhile, the PKB was represented by the Deputy Chairperson General Jazilul Fawaid. PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar could not attend because he was on pilgrimage in the Holy Land.

Several Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet were also seen attending the peak of the BBK event. Among them were Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of State Secretary (Mensetneg) Pratikno, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Minister of Education and Technology Nadiem Makarim.
