Present At The Bung Karno Month Peak Event, Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Chat With Ganjar

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin attended the Bung Karno Month (BKK) celebration which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, Saturday, June 24.

Arriving at the venue, Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin were greeted directly by the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri and the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Prananda Prabowo. Also present were presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo who wore black party uniforms and caps.

President Jokowi is seen wearing a plain black long-sleeved shirt. Meanwhile, Ma'ruf Amin was seen wearing long-sleeved batik.

Apart from Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin, there were also general chairmen and high-ranking political parties in the governing coalition. Among them, Plt Chairman of PPP Muhammad Mardiono, General Chairperson of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto who wore yellow batik clothes, followed by Ketum Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang was also seen present. Then there is the Chairman of the Perindo Party Hary Tanoesoedibjo and the General Chairperson of PAN Zulkifli Hasan

Meanwhile, the PKB was represented by the Deputy Chairperson General Jazilul Fawaid. PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar could not attend because he was on pilgrimage in the Holy Land.

Several Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet were also seen attending the peak of the BBK event. Among them were Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of State Secretary (Mensetneg) Pratikno, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Minister of Education and Technology Nadiem Makarim.

Before the event started, Megawati had a chance to talk with Ganjar and Mardiono. Not only that, he also talked with the general chairman of the party who was present at the peak BBK event.

PDIP held a grand consolidation with the theme 'Group of Unity for Greater Indonesia' on Saturday, June 24. Hundreds of thousands of party cadres bearing the bull symbol are expected to crowd the GBK area.

"So it is extraordinary that this activity will be attended by all participants from all over Indonesia who are assumed to reach 100 thousand people," said Chairman of the Bung Karno Month Committee, Rano Karno in a written statement, Wednesday, June 21.
