Fugitives Breaking Into Residents' Houses In Sukabumi Arrested By Police

The Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim Team arrested T (43) who is a fugitive in a case of breaking into a resident's house on Jalan Didi Sukardi.

"For more than a month, the perpetrators have been our target of hunting and thanks to their cooperation, T was finally arrested at a mobile phone counter on Jalan Baros, Baros District, Sukabumi City on Tuesday (20/6)," said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Setyawan Wibowo, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 22.

The suspect on Sunday (14/5) morning broke into Santy Rahmawaty's house on Jalan Didi Sukardi, Gedongpanjang Village, Citamiang District, which was empty at that time.

Kasat Reskrim Sukabumi City Police AKPYanto Sudiarto said it was suspected that before carrying out the action, suspect T had monitored the house and daily activities of the home owner.

The suspect, who had been conducting surveillance for a long time, then took action when the occupant was not at home. T who entered by breaking the iron track of the front window freely stole the victim's valuables.

The alleged perpetrator, who is Sudajayahilir, Barosini District, managed to take cash, gold jewelry weighing eight grams, a laptop, a printer and four cellphones as a result, the victim suffered a loss of Rp43 million.

"In addition to arresting the suspect, we also confiscated the screwdriver used by T to break into the victim's house and the laptop and the printer machine belonging to the victim which had not been sold," he said.
