JAKARTA - Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has been indicted in Romania on charges of rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women.
Tristan's brother and two of his colleagues also face charges. All denied the allegations.
Reporting from the BBC news, Tuesday, June 20, the Tate brothers were first arrested at their home in Bukares in December. In March, they were transferred to house arrest following a Romanian judge's decision.
The indictment filed in the court of Bukares said the four defendants formed organized criminal groups in 2021 to carry out human trafficking in Romania, but also in other countries including the US and Britain.
It was stated that seven victims were allegedly recruited by the Tate brothers through promises of love and fake marriage.
