Get To Know P-Fluoro Fori, The Analgesic Responsible For The Deaths Of Hundreds Of People In Estonia

JAKARTA - Recently, Syiva Angel program was caught in a case of using the narcotics "P-Fluoro Fori". The police said that the drug was a new type in Indonesia. Is it really new?

Based on Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, the drugs used by Syivia fall into the category of Para-fluorophentanil or Parafluorofentanyl which is a type of analgesic developed by Janssen Pharmacy in the 60s.

Reported by VOI from the International Journal of Drug Policy, "Fentanyl" is a synthetic opioid analgesic which was initially used for pain relief and anesthesia.

However, concerns are starting to emerge because Fentanyl has been used illegally recently in several European countries. Surprisingly, the pain reliever turned out to have dangerous side effects and a risk of fatal oversosis.

The study took samples from the country of Estonia which has been using fentanyl for more than a decade. It turns out that the injection of the drug has resulted in hundreds of overdose deaths in the country.

In recent times, Fentanyl is used as a substitute for heroin. This is because the scarcity of herorin to fentanyl and 3-methylfentanyl (TMF) is marketed in several European countries such as Bulgaria and Slovakia.

Then cases of fentanyl overdose are increasingly widespread in Europe, after Germany, Finland and the UK reported deaths due to the use of the drug. As a result, European law enforcement officials encouraged the diversion and claimed the drug was in the illegal category.

The study, which was conducted by Jane Mounteneya, Isabelle Giraudona, Gleb Denissovb, and Paul Griffiths, identified fentanyl (in European society) as a drug that uses low doses but has a high enough risk.

The number of cases of death in Estonia which is high according to the research is because it has endemic problems. Although fentanyl is categorized as a banned drug, in Europe itself, the black market and online sales are still out of control.
