Violating Health Protocol, 276 Business Owners Are Scolded By The West Sumatra's Police Force

JAKARTA - The West Sumatra (West Sumatra) Regional Police force (Polda) has reprimanded hundreds of business owners who violated health protocol (Prokes) at their place of business.

Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Satake Bayu, said this warning was given to 276 business actors so that they could comply with health protocols at their business locations.

"Starting from providing a place for washing hands, keeping a distance, and obliging to wear a mask," said Bayu as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 25.

He noted that until Sunday, January 24, a total of 276 business owners were reprimanded by the police for violating health protocol.

The Police force in Padang is noted to have reprimanded business actors in the area at most, 52 times.

Furthermore, the Police force in South Coast District has reprimanded 39 times to business owners in the area.

According to him, the West Sumatra Police force continues to provide education to business owners who still have not implemented health protocols such as not requiring masks to visitors or servants at their place of business.

In addition, it does not provide a location that is in accordance with the adaptation of new habits implemented by the West Sumatra Provincial Government through Perda No. 6 2020 concerning Adaptation of New Habits

In fact, since Wednesday, January 20 to Saturday, January 24, officers have reprimanded 1,222 business owners scattered throughout the area.

"We will continue to remind business owners to be disciplined in implementing health protocols and in accordance with existing regulations," he said.
