SAMARINDA - East Kalimantan Provincial Governor Isran Noor admitted that he was disappointed with the delay in the construction of the Korpri Hospital in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan.
The construction of a hospital that uses East Kalimantan's APBD funds worth IDR 43.3 billion has started since September 27, 2021 and is targeted to operate in early 2022.
However, until the middle of 2023, the construction has not ended.
"Until now, the construction has not been completed," said Isran Noor in Samarinda as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 16.
Isran assessed that the delay in the construction of these health facilities was due to the lack of financial capacity and the weak planning of the contractor's management.
"That's because of the contractor. The capital is DP, just down payment," said the Governor.
With this incident, Isran hopes that in every activity (project), especially when the process for contractors should be more selective,
"Well, that's our contractor's disease. If you don't have the capacity, or there are other problems, you have to be dealt with," said Isran.
However, Isran provided good information that the East Kalimantan Provincial Government had completed the construction of the Mata Hospital with a budget of Rp74.29 billion.
"Currently, the Pandurata Building is being built at the Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital, Samarinda and the Integrated Heart Service Building at the Kanujoso Djatiwibowo Hospital, Balikpapan," said Isran.
For the construction of the Pandurata building at RSUD A Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda, the APPSI General Chair said, it would cost IDR 382.22 billion by 2025.

"It's all from our APBD. It's a big development budget. But for the people it's okay," said Isran Noor.
It is known that the KORPRI Hospital was built in the area of the Madya Sempaja Samarinda Stadium complex on an area of 3,900 square meters with a building area of 4,639 square meters with a funding requirement of Rp43.3 billion.
From the results of the evaluation of the East Kalimantan PUPR Service, the contractor has been given an extension of time in accordance with Governor Regulation (Pergub) number 71 of 2013 for 50 working days of completion, but it has not been completed.
