Mario Dandy's Lawyer Regarding Rp100 Billion Restitution: If You Want To Target His Father's Assets, Don't Go Through Here

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) has determined the value of compensation or restitution in the case of David Ozora's persecution to reach Rp. 100 billion. Mario Dandy Satriyo's lawyer responded sarcastically if he was looking for profit, not by restitution.

"So if you want to target the assets of his father (Rafael Alun Trisambodo) not through here, I think," said Mario Dandy Satriyo's lawyer, Andreas Nahot Silitonga, to reporters, Thursday, June 15.

According to him, in restitution, the litigants must pay for it. However, for this condition, his client is only a student who does not yet have assets.

All the facilities he owns include the vehicle and the house of ownership on behalf of his parents. Moreover, Mario Dandy's parents do not have the obligation to pay for the restitution.

"Because this is not his father who has committed a criminal act that will be punished as the party responsible for the restitution. If I think we both know students, we don't work yet. I also don't know if there are assets in his name, then if it's not on his behalf, it can't be withdrawn to make changes to the restitution," he said.

Andreas continued that his party would wait for the next process of the restitution.

"Actually, we don't have much to respond to from the process, apart from waiting for the legal process. For example, if we also have to be aware because so far there is always an assumption that Mario is said to be an adult, at this time it must also be implemented," said Andreas.

As previously reported, LPSK determined the value of compensation or restitution in the case of mistreatment of David Ozora with defendants Mario Dandy Satrio and Shane Lukas worth more than Rp. 100 billion. This value is based on calculations of medical expenses and so on.

"For the amount of restitution, it's more than Rp. 100 billion," said Deputy Chairperson of LPSK Susilaningtyas.

The basis for determining the value of restitution refers to the cost of a quota that has been incurred by the family when David Ozora is undergoing treatment at the hospital for almost two months.

There are also consumption and transportation costs incurred by the family while accompanying David Ozora to undergo medical treatment.

Not to forget, LPSK also includes the cost of rehabilitation or therapy of David Ozora for life. Because, said Susi, from coordinating with the medical team, Jonathan Latumahina's son really needed it.

"The cost of losing income. So his parents during David's tenure lost their income because they focused on taking care of David," said Susi.
