JAKARTA - The 2023 America's Got Talent (AGT) contest who received the Golden Buzzer from the jury, Putri Ariani, met President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday. Putri arrived at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 14 at around 14.30 WIB. Putri went straight to the Merdeka Palace, and met with President Jokowi who was accompanied by the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Pratikno. "This “ Amazing, proud and touched, did not expect the President's appreciation to be extraordinary," said Putri on the sidelines of a meeting with President Jokowi, quoted from Antara. Putri also shared her experience as an AGT audition contestant from getting a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell, a judge who is known to the contestants. Simon is also a prominent figure in the United States entertainment industry. “ What is certain is that Putri is very grateful, extraordinary, did not expect to ask for a second song and Putri was also cold,” said the student of a Vocational High School in Bantul, DI Yogyakarta. Putri hopes that President Jokowi will continue to support him. Putri wants to continue to struggle to make Indonesia proud in the international arena. "And all my friends can follow in the footsteps of the princess," he said. The judge gave the Golden Buzzer to Putri as a sign that the participants went straight to the next round or direct access to the Live Show stage without passing the audition stage and other selections.
