Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi checked mass transportation services in Pekanbaru, Riau, today, Sunday, June 11. He wants to ensure that mass transportation services in the regions continue to increase with good safety and security standards.

During his visit to Pekanbaru, Budi Karya inspected the Terminal Type A of Bandar Raya Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru and Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport.

"I came here to convey the mandate of the President (Joko Widodo). The message is to seek mass transportation so that it becomes the main choice for the community," he said in an official statement, Sunday, June 11.

"Therefore we have to plan, budget, execute, and oversee the course of this mass transportation," he continued.
