Call Jokowi A Mentor In Government, Ganjar: Guts Don't Have To Shout

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo said that the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was his mentor in the government because he had real guts.

The presidential candidate (readpres) from the PDI-P said that the real courage did not have to be shouted, but was shown by concrete actions or actions. This, he said, was in Jokowi's heart.

"Again, the guts don't have to scream, the guts can be done by acting," said Ganjar during a speech at the declaration of the Gapura Nusantara Volunteers (RGN) at Kelapa Gading Club, Jakarta, Saturday.

The Governor of Central Java said Jokowi was synonymous with a communication style that puts forward a clear way of thinking, not with anger. According to him, Jokowi's characteristic is true guts.

Someone who never screams, someone who rarely shows the aura of the face of anger, but he decides with a clear mind, with a smiling face, but taken as a whole. Ladies and gentlemen, that's the real guts, not the fierce face with high intonation," he said.

Ganjar gave an example of how Jokowi works. Ganjar stated that although Jokowi was often bullied because of his appearance, he still showed his best performance to the public.

"How about a Jokowi who was said to be longa-plongo, his body was thin, not dashing, suddenly came to Afghanistan, who was still at war, suddenly came to Ukraine, coming to Moscow, which is still at war," he said.

In addition, Ganjar also highlighted Jokowi's courage in making policies, such as related to nickel exports and the takeover of PT Freeport.

"Approximately 68-69 Freeport stands and none of the leaders are able to take over except for Jokowi," said Ganjar.

Ganjar admitted that he learned a lot from Jokowi. Therefore, Ganjar called the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia his mentor.

"So, I have a mentor in the government. His name is Jokowi," he said.
