JAKARTA - DPR Speaker Puan Maharani supports the implementation of the XVI National Week (Penas) Fishermen Farmers and hopes to provide many benefits for the progress of farmers and fishermen in the country.

"The DPR hopes that the implementation of the 2023 Fisherman's Farmers' Penas will have a major impact on improving the welfare of Indonesian farmers and fishermen," said Puan, Wednesday, June 7.

Penas XVI Fisherman Farmers will be held at Sutan Sjahrir Airfield (LAND), Padang City, West Sumatra, on 10-15 June 2023. Puan asked the Government and the committee to provide the best direction and assistance for all farmers and fishermen during the activity.

"So that the benefits of Penas can be received optimally by all farmers and fishermen who take part in this event," said the first woman to serve as Chair of the DPR RI.
