ASN And DKI Residents Asked To Maintain Pancasila Values For Jakarta's Progress

JAKARTA - All State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) are asked to maintain and care for the values of Pancasila in advancing the region. The same is expected to be done by Jakarta residents.

This hope was conveyed by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono at the commemoration ceremony for the Birthday of Pancasila taking place at Monas, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 1. In the ceremony themed "Gotong-Royong Builds Civilization and Global Growth", all invited guests wore traditional regional clothes. Heru wore traditional Betawi clothes, namely Ujung Serong.About 200 ASN attended as ceremony participants. Previously, cross-regional coordination was also carried out to prepare Monas as a ceremony location, such as community service cleaning Monas involving 3,000 personnel.

"(I) expect all citizens of Jakarta and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the DKI Provincial Government to maintain and care for Pancasila to continue to stand tall in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," Heru said in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday.

He also hopes that unity, tolerance and mutual cooperation will become the values applied in advancing the city and improving the welfare of the people of Jakarta. In addition, Heru said, on the 2023 anniversary of the Birthday of Pancasila, the DKI Provincial Government won the trust of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) to host the flag ceremony.

Heru expressed his appreciation to all parties who have participated and supported the flag ceremony at the National Monument (Monas) so that it went well. This form of participation and support shows a form of love for Pancasila which is the ideology of the Indonesian nation and state.

"The ideology that must be held firmly to make Jakarta a success for Indonesia's progress. Happy Birthday Pancasila," said Heru.
