JAKARTA - The face of his older brother who was the victim of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash was clearly in the mind of his younger brother Heri Purnomo when he sowed flowers in the waters of Lancang Island, Seribu Islands.

Heri's older brother named Agus Minarni. Minarni became a passenger on the Sriwijaya Air flight on the Jakarta-Pontianak route. In the accident, Minarni became a victim along with her husband, Muhammad Nur Kholifatul Amin.

Heri said the image of Minarni and her husband who was pictured when the rose petals were spread to the surface of the sea made her unable to hold back tears.

"Frankly, when sowing the flowers, my sister's face was pictured. Tears continued to flow, especially when we saw the surface of the water. It was as if their faces were pictured on the surface of the water," said Heri on the KRI Semarang ship, Friday , January 22.

However, Heri admitted that he and his family had given up on his brother who was the victim of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash. According to him, basically human destiny has indeed been outlined by God.

"In this way, it affirms to all of us that in essence humans cannot control their own lives. There is a Almighty substance that controls everything. Indeed, death is a certain thing," said Heri.

"We have sincerely, surrendered and accepted Allah's destiny. Our hope is that hopefully he will both be placed by Allah SWT," he continued.

He continued, his older brother, Minarni, had been identified by the Police's Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team. Minarni's body was buried in Mempawah, Pontianak, on Saturday, January 16.

Now, Heri hopes that the body of Minarni's husband can also be identified immediately. "We also hope that all body parts that are already in the National Police Hospital will be immediately identified so that there is our hope that Muhammad Nur Kholifatul Amin can be identified, either the whole body or parts of his body," he added.

Today, the SAR team brought dozens of victims' families as well as relatives of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 pilot and flight attendant to the flower-sowing location in the waters of Lancang Island, Seribu Islands this morning. The flower sowing activity is intended to honor victims of plane crashes.

The family departed from JICT II Pier, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta using the KRI Semarang ship from 06.30 WIB. The trip takes about three hours to the point where the plane crashed.

Meanwhile, based on SAR operations from the first to the last day, the SAR team's findings totaled 325 body bags containing body parts. Then, as many as 119 aircraft materials, with details of 68 small bags containing aircraft debris and 55 large aircraft pieces.

Now, the cause of the crash of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft is still being investigated by the NTSC using the FDR black box data analysis that was found on January 12. Currently, the search for the CVR black box is still being carried out in further operations so that the cause of the crash can be revealed immediately.
