Bahar Smith Allegedly Shot, Police Examine 16 Witnesses And CCTV

Bogor Police examined surveillance cameras or CCTV and 16 witnesses to investigate the issue of Bahar Smith or Habib Bahar Bin Smith being shot by an unknown person (OTK).

Last week, Bahar Smith admitted that he was shot by OTK near the HR Development Center (Pusbang) of the Transportation Apparatus in Kemang District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

"16 witnesses (have been examined)," said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanudin when confirmed, Monday, May 22.

However, Iman did not specify the results of the examination of the dozens of witnesses. He only said that his party was still focused on examining other witnesses or deepening CCTV cameras around the location.

"We are in the process of requesting witness statements and deepening CCTV," he said.

Previously, Bahar Smith or Habib Bahar bin Smith admitted that he was shot on the road near the Transportation Apparatus HR Development Center (Pusbang) in Kemang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Friday, May 12 at around 20.32 WIB.

Habib Bahar admitted that he was shot while testing the car that had just been repaired by his students. Investigators are still collecting evidence and clues to uncover this case.

"We have processed the crime scene and will ask for information from witnesses who know about the incident," explained Iman.

Habib Bahar's report was received by the Kemang Police, Bogor on Friday (12/5/2023) at around 21.45 WIB with the number LP//B/V/2023/SPKT/POLSEK KEMANG/BOGOR/WEST JAVA POLICE.

In the report, it was stated that the shooting incident occurred in the vicinity of the Dishub Education and Training Center, Kemang District, Bogor Regency.
