Momentum Harkitnas, Ganjar Pranowo Invites South Sumatra PDIP Cadres To Rise And Fight

National Awakening Day is a momentum for Ganjar Pranowo to burn the enthusiasm of South Sumatra PDIP cadres. To thousands of white-nosed bull cadres who attended the South Sumatra PDIP Consolidation at the Dempo Sports Hall, Jakabaring Palembang, Saturday, May 20, Ganjar said he was optimistic that PDIP would return to glory in Bumi Sriwijaya.

"On this National Awakening Day, it is a momentum for our revival to fight and win. No need to look back, it's time for us to rise and fight," said Ganjar.

Ganjar Pranowo asked all cadres not to be discouraged even though twice the presidential election, namely 2014 and 2019, PDIP lost in South Sumatra. In fact, there was a significant decrease in votes.

The 2014 presidential election, Joko Widodo's vote was only 48.73 percent. That number lost to his opponent, namely Prabowo. Meanwhile, in the 2019 presidential election, Joko Widodo's vote actually fell to 40.3 percent.

"Don't be discouraged. I'm sure my friends have worked hard. But we need to evaluate together, learn from previous experiences to find out where our weaknesses are. Then, we consolidate, work together, improve and win. We have to have a hat trick!," he said to the applause of the participants..

Ganjar Pranowo even said he would often go down to South Sumatra. For him, South Sumatra is a very challenging battle ground location.

"South Sumatra has always been a challenging and attractive place for me. So permission, later I will travel to various regencies/cities in South Sumatra to jointly manage branches, branches to PAC to fight together," he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the South Sumatra PDIP DPD, HM Giri Ramanda N Kiemas, emphasized that PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri had given an order. All PDIP cadres must move to win Ganjar Pranowo as president in 2024 and win the 2024 Legislative Election again.

"There is no other word. Now there is only one word. Win! Are you all ready?" said Giri.

"Ready! Reward the President," shouted thousands of cadres.

According to Giri, Ganjar is the best cadre of PDIP. Two periods of Ganjar became a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives and two terms he also served as Governor of Central Java.

"So, he has experience and knows how to solve problems in this country. Today, we all gather to unite our determination. Win Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as president. So, all cadres must go down and be ready to fight to win the presidential and legislative elections in 2024," he said.

As is known, on weekends, Ganjar again conducts consolidation outside the region. This time, Ganjar was present at Palembang to greet the cadres and people in Bumi Sriwijaya.

A number of activities will be attended by Ganjar Pranowo during his visit to South Sumatra. Among them, the consolidation of the three pillars of the South Sumatra PDIP, gathering with religious leaders and cultural leaders in South Sumatra, as well as other activities.
