Challenge AGO To Investigate Johnny Plate's Money Flow, Surya Paloh: Check All Elements Including NasDem

Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh challenged the Attorney General's Office (AGO) to trace the flow of funds from the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate. This effort is expected to be carried out in a transparent manner and as soon as the cadre officially becomes a suspect and is detained.

"This flow of funds is good. This is what this party wants. This party wants complete transparency. Once again, I say transparency," Surya told reporters at NasDem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, May 17.

Surya asked the AGO not to hesitate to trace by following the movement of money or following the money.

"Check all possibilities, from the left to the right, from west to east, upstream, whoever is involved," he said.

In fact, NasDem is ready to open the door for the AGO if needed. "Check for all elements in any institution, including NasDem. Nasdem is all about that," said Surya

"We welcome that," he continued.

Surya ensured that his party would provide legal assistance to Johnny. This effort was referred to as an obligation.

Previously, Johnny was officially detained by the AGO for the first 20 days. He is a suspect in alleged corruption in the construction of the 4G BTS tower and supporting infrastructure for BAKTI Kominfo.

After being named a suspect, the position of the Minister of Communication and Information will be filled with acting (Plt). This assurance was conveyed after the Secretary General of the NasDem Party was named a suspect in alleged corruption at the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"The position of Minister will be taken over by Plt," said Special Staff of the Minister of State Secretary Faldo Maldini to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, May 17.
