KPK Reveals Gratification Received By Makassar Customs Head Andhi Pramono Capai Billions Of Rupiah

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono as a suspect in the alleged receipt of gratuities. He is said to have received billions of rupiah.

"So far (the receipt of gratuities, ed) is estimated at billions of rupiah," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, March 16.

Ali did not want to elaborate further on the receipt. He just said this number could continue to grow because the search was still being carried out.

"(The receipt value, red) is still being explored and further developed," he said.

Andhi Pramono was named a suspect after his assets were highlighted by the public until clarification was finally carried out. The KPK ensures that the determination of this suspect is in accordance with applicable regulations.

Investigators have pocketed the evidence of receipts by Andhi. Moreover, investigators have conducted a search at Andhi's house in the Cibubur Tourism Legend area and found documents and electronic evidence.

Furthermore, the anti-corruption commission will summon witnesses who are suspected of knowing about Andhi's actions. Later, he will also be summoned as a suspect and then detained.
