Zulhas: Elections Are Not Breaking The Economy, But Strengthening Unity

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) likens his party's struggle in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections to the sun which aims to give, love and love all God's creations.

"Be the sun, the sun never makes any difference between us. The sun treats all God's creations equally. The sun shines, gives, loves, loves. The sun never breaks its promise," said Zulkifli while leading the registration for the legislative candidate. DPR in the 2024 General Election at the KPU office, Jakarta, Friday, May 12.

With this philosophy, it is estimated that PAN will always support the implementation of the 2024 General Election which is direct, free, secret, honest, and fair. PAN also supports the 2024 General Election with quality, integrity, security, peace, and happiness. According to him, the implementation of the election should strengthen the unity of the Indonesian people, not divide it.

"The election is not dividing, but strengthening our unity," he said.

Friday afternoon, at around 14:24 WIB, Zulkifli Hasan handed over the registration file for the DPR candidate from PAN to the KPU which was received directly by KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari.

"Today, Friday, May 12, 2023, the central leadership of PAN is present at the Indonesian KPU office to register as a candidate for the DPR RI," said Hasyim Asy'ari.

After receiving and examining the files, the KPU will notify the complete status of the registration file for the DPR candidate from PAN. If the file is declared incomplete, then PAN can make improvements before the deadline for registration for the DPR RI candidate on Sunday (14/5), at 23.59 WIB.
