A total of eight sub-districts in West Aceh Regency as of Sunday (7/5) night were reported to have been flooded with water levels reaching one meter.

"This natural flood disaster has occurred due to successive heavy rains that have occurred since the last three days," said West Aceh Regency BPBD Pusdalops Coordinator Mashuri, quoted by ANTARA.
