Damaged Road Infections In Lampung, Jokowi Calls The APBD Not Allocated Infrastructure Development

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that the government is currently starting to collect data on district/city roads as well as badly damaged provincial roads. The head of state believes this is the case because the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) at the provincial and district/city levels is not allocated for infrastructure development. When carrying out infection President Jokowi carried out Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque of Airan, South Lampung, after conducting a direct review to Jalan Terusan Ryacudu which is heading to Kota Baru, Sepada District. President Jokowi accompanied by Minister of SOE Erick Thohir, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, and Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan carried out Friday prayers together with hundreds of worshipers who were ready at the mosque. After carrying out Friday prayers, President Jokowi and his entourage took the time to greet and provide basic food assistance and t-shirts to local residents. "It's nice to get basic necessities directly from the President," said Efrida, one resident who can food packages containing rice, sugar and bread. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Great Airan Raya Mosque Asrian Hendi Cahya thanked President Jokowi for carrying out Friday prayers at the mosque. "This shows that Indonesia is safe, because Pak Jokowi can pray wherever he is, without the need for any worries," he said. He hopes that with the presence of President Jokowi development in Lampung can be even better in the future. "This is a form of direct attention from the central government to the local government," he said.

President Jokowi and his entourage left the Airan Grand Mosque at around 12.50 WIB to continue inspection of damaged roads in Lampung. Previously, it was reported that President Jokowi wanted to ensure the truth of the number of damaged roads in Lampung whose videos went viral in cyberspace, so he planned to make a working visit to the province.
