The Manuscript Of The Vision And Mission Of The Candidate For National Police Chief Komjen Listyo Sigit Submitted To Commission III Of The DPR

JAKARTA - The expert team for the National Police Chief, Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo, submitted a paper with the initiative of the vision and mission to Commission III of the DPR-RI, on Tuesday, January 19. The paper is the material that will be presented in the fit and proper test.

"The material has been submitted to Commission III of the DPR, by the Head of the Manuscript Team, Inspector General Wahyu Widada (Aceh Police Chief) accompanied by the Head of Propam Polri, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo," said Head of Public Relations Division of the Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono in his statement, Tuesday, January 19.

Argo said that based on the existing plan, Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo will undertake a fit and proper test on Wednesday, January 20. So, the material was given the day before.

Meanwhile, regarding the content of the material, Argo was reluctant to comment much. He only outlined the contents of the paper, namely the policy or work program if he passed as Chief of Police.

"The point is the Kapolri's work program going forward. Tomorrow we will listen and watch together during the fit and proper test at the DPR, "he said.

As previously reported, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) received a Presidential Letter regarding the name of the candidate for Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia.

The presidential letter numbered: R-02 / Pres / 01/2021 was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno to the Chairman of the Indonesian Parliament, Puan Maharani, at the Parliament Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 13.

"Today, President Joko Widodo has submitted a proposal from the Chief of Police to the Indonesian Parliament, on behalf of Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to obtain DPR approval," Puan said in his official statement some time ago.

Since the beginning, Listyo's name was included in the National Police candidate exchange. According to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs as well as the Chairperson of Kompolnas, the name Listyo was presented to President Jokowi under another name.

"These are five Komjen that were proposed to the President by Kompolnas to be selected as candidates for the National Police Chief. Gatot Edy Pramono, Boy Rafli Amar, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Arief Sulistyanto, Agus Andrianto," Mahfud was quoted as saying on his Twitter account, Friday, January 8.

This name was presented to President Jokowi because they were considered competent during their tenure. "The five people are considered to meet the requirements of professionalism, loyalty, flight hours," he said.
