List Of Political Parties Supporting Ganjar Pranowo, Declares To Have The Same Vision And Struggle

YOGYAKARTA - The name Ganjar Pranowo has officially been promoted as a presidential candidate in 2024 by PDIP. The eviction of Ganjar received good review from several parties. A number of political parties supporting Ganjar Pranowo have stated their support for the figure who is currently the Governor of Central Java.

There are already four political parties that openly support Ganjar Pranowo as the next presidential candidate. Previously, Ganjar's investigation as a presidential candidate was announced directly by PDIP Chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Bogor Palace.

Although he has just received a slanted assessment of his attitude in rejecting Israel in the U-20 World Cup, Ganjar is still considered strong as a candidate for presidential candidate. So who are the political parties supporting Ganjar Pranowo.

Apart from the PDI-P as the home of Ganjar Pranowo cadres, there are three other parties that have expressed their support for the figure of the white-haired man. The three other parties that support Ganjar, namely PSI, Hanura, and PPP.

PDI Perjuangan

PDIP has finally conveyed the investigation of Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024. Ganjar has long been strongly suspected that the red party will nominate him to run in the upcoming elections.

"So at 13.45 by saying bismillahirrohmanirrohim, appointing Ganjar Pranowo's brother, now he is the Governor of Central Java, as a cadre and party officer to be upgraded to his assignment as a candidate for President of the Republic of Indonesia from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle," said Megawati at the Batutulis Palace, Bogor, West Java, Friday (21/4/2023).

The announcement was also made by President Joko Widodo. In addition, PDIP DPP chairman Prananda Prabowo, Puan Maharani, and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto were also present.

Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI)

PSI has long expressed its support for Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 election. PSI has carried Ganjar to run for president since 2022.

The suspension of Ganjar Pranowo was conveyed by PSI after conducting the People's Rembuk Polling in October 2022. PSI nominated Ganjar as a presidential candidate and Yenni Wahid as a vice presidential candidate.

"From the results of the people's decay, we announce that PSI will nominate Mr. Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024," reiterated Grace Natalie's statement, Deputy Chairman of the PSI Board of Trustees, delivered on Monday (3/10/2022).

PSI chose Ganjar for the presidential election because the Governor of Central Java got the highest poll results compared to other candidates. In addition, Ganjar is also considered to have a national attitude in line with PSI's struggle.

Hanura Party

The Hanura Party also emerged as a party that supports Ganjar Pranowo running as a presidential candidate in 2024. Hanura Party support for Ganjar was revealed after Megawati Soekarnoputri officially brought Ganjar as a presidential candidate in next year's election.

"That's why last night after Mrs. Mega announced in front of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, I believe that is Pak Jokowi's choice that I have been waiting for and I will participate in supporting Ganjar Pranowo to become the next President of the Republic of Indonesia," said Oesman Sapta Odang, Chairman of the Hanura Party, to reporters on Saturday (22/4/2023).

OSO also stated that all DPD from the Hanura Party had agreed to support Ganjar Pranowo. According to him, Ganjar is a leader figure who sides with the people and regions, as is the leader needed by the Indonesian people.

United Development Party (PPP)

Muhammad Mardiono, Acting Chairman of PPP, announced his party carrying Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024. He made this statement directly at his residence in Pakem, Sleman, DIY.

In delivering support for Ganjar, the chairman of the PPP Advisory Council Muhammad Romahurmuziy, PPP functionaries from all regions, and invited guests were also present. The decision was based on the results of the V PPP national leadership meeting which was held on Tuesday (25/4).

Mardiono said that the coalition formed in KIB was a collaboration in one political decision or idea. The decision is not something that binds or affects the internals of each party.

That is the review of the list of political parties supporting Ganjar Pranowo as presidential candidates in the upcoming elections. The 2024 democratic party is just waiting for a matter of months. Currently, there are two names that have been promoted as presidential candidates, namely Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan.
