JAKARTA - The Provincial Government of Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel) will conduct research on the use of Bumi Cloud's MSME Essential Oil products to accelerate the healing of COVID-19 patients.

This was expressed by the Governor of the Babylon Islands, Erzaldi Rosman Djohan during the Coordination Meeting for the Management of COVID-19 Patients in Pangkalpinang, Monday, January 18.

"I hope that the Health Office will immediately conduct research on the use of these UMKM products in healing COVID-19 patients at quarantine houses," explained Governor Erzaldi.

The Provincial Government of the Babel Islands together with the Regional Coordinator (Koorwil) of the Indonesia Council for Small Business (ICSB) Babel for the past 2 months has tried to accelerate the healing of patients exposed to the corona virus using essential oils.

"For the past 2.5 months, the quarantine guesthouse has received support for the use of Bumi Cloud Essential Oil for patients with respiratory problems, this has provided positive feedback," he said.

According to him, the research that will be carried out, for example, is about the duration of time and the dosage needed by patients with respiratory disorders and is treated using Bumi Cloud until they recover.

"We hope that the results of this study can have a positive impact in curing COVID-19 patients who have increased in the past month," he said.

ICSB Koorwil Melati Erzaldi said this meeting was held to strengthen, synchronize, and unite the mindset that the use of Bumi Cloud is a form of endeavor.

Conversely, not to encourage a single brand to accelerate the patient's healing process.

"Bumi Cloud supports Covid-19 patients in quarantine for free, not selling products. There are ten ingredients contained in Bumi Cloud Essential Oil, two of which are originally from Bangka Belitung, namely eucalyptus oil and key oranges," said Melati.
